Showtec creates "White Light" in Marco Borsato

The album due for release in September, a series of concerts, as well as the exciting feature film, in which Marco Borsato palyed the lead, have all recieved the title "Wit Licht"(or "White Light").

The album contains songs, which are based on the emotions and themes in the film.

The Entertainment Group was responsible for the production, EML Holland was responsible for the lights in the "Wit Licht" (or “White Light”) series of concerts, in the Gelredome in Arnhem (NL).Eight shows, complete sold out, with Marco Borsato and his band! This show also travels to the Sportpaleis in Antwerp (B), for another series of 9 shows with more than 130.000 visitors. Lots of movingheads and conventional equipment was used to give this series of concerts the right look!Eml productions Holland used 480x Showtec Active Sunstrips to create a huge massive "White Light" wall. This huge "White Light" wall of Showtec Active Sunstrips was driven by Arkaos Led Mapper software with video content.

LED Mapper extension for ArKaos VJ DMX ordercode: 50221

The LED Mapper extension for the ArKaos VJ DMX media server software, allows mapping of the server's video output directly to any configuration of LED panels. This all works without the need of using expensive hardware to convert a video signal (VGA or DVI) into a DMX signal. Pixel intensity or colors are sent directly from the media server to the panels via the ArtNet protocol (DMX over Ethernet). This protocol can, if needed, easily be converted into a standard DMX signal using a simple Ethernet-DMX node. The LED Mapper extension allows you to import your own mapping of LED devices into ArKaos VJ DMX. This makes it possible to control many of them from a single ArKaos VJ server (the only limitation being the 256 DMX universes).

Mapping editor

To create and edit your panel configurations (mappings), the LED Mapper extension features an external editor, which allows you to choose devices from an extensive library and place them interactively on the screen. While editing the mapping configuration, you can view your configuration results in real time, as they are sent over ArtNet to your LCD panels (supports pictures only).Once satisfied with your mapping, you can save it to a file and import it into Arkaos VJ DMX, which broadcast its output according to your specific configuration.
