Last Friday August 28th Highlite International BV had the honour to welcome the Dutch State Secretary of Social Affairs & Employment Ms Jetta Klijnsma.

The Dutch State Secretary was accompanied by reporters and a camera crew of the Limburg broadcasting station L1.

Last Saturday, the 5th of September, Laundry Day 2009 was held at a brand-new location: Festival Location "Nieuw Zuid" - Antwerp (B).

This new festival location covers more than 150.000 square meters!

12 different areas with sound, light & video were crowded with more than 60.000 visitors, and more than 100 top-DJs.

Big names such as Tiësto, Front 242, Dr. Lektroluv, Junkie XL, The Subs etc. performed at Laundry Day 2009.

During 4 weeks, the Belgian TV station -VRT- presents a live show called -Junior Eurosong -. This is the Belgian pre-selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev, where they will sing a song they wrote themselves.

Disco was the dance trend of the seventies and today the genre is once again very hot.

Since 2001 Independent Concerts organizes Studio 54 in the Antwerp Sportpaleis (B).

Studio 54 is the biggest disco party in the world, with more than 14.000 party goers joining in.

We would like to inform you, that as from October 1st 2009 Highlite International will discontinue sales and distribution of SGM products for the Benelux area. However the distribution of SGM products for the Benelux area will be assigned to a second party, including the current guarantee claims.

Plasa 2009 has come to an end. And after the last day we must admit that it was a great show. Although the crisis obviously also hit the show, as the layout was smaller than previous year, the number of visitors was still very good and our booth was crowded throughout all days of the show. We highly appreciate all the positive feedback we received to our brand new stand design.

There was a great interest for our new line-up of LED moving heads. And many people were surprised by the extremely bright LED moving heads which Showtec offers. From the Indigo 250 up to the Giant XL, they all amazed our customers one by one.

Also there was great interest for our new LED Commander. This new dedicated LED controller with full functions was warmly welcomed by many customers.

It was great to see all our customers as well as many new customers in London. We enjoyed to be there and for sure we will be back next year!

The Dealer Days 2009 what can we say? Well, last weekend exceeded even our highest expectations.

We had the privilege to welcome over 1.500 visitors, originating from various countries such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Italy, Spain and even Senegal.

We received a lot of positive feedback on our new products and as every year the secondhand/demo market was very successful. Also many visitors were very impressed by our new 25 meter high warehouse.

We are very proud that so many of our customers came over and we would like to thank everybody for their continuous support.
